- Question : What cable do i need for the input? Xlr male to 3.5 if i want to input a laptop audio?Answer : Most all computers these days have stereo headphone outputs. You wouldn't want to use the P2 on a computer input just to clarify. Make sure to select stereo on the P2 (there's a switch in the battery compartment for Mono or Stereo). Just make sure to purchase a TRS (stereo) mini (3.5)) to XLR. Hope this helps.

There is a mono/stereo switch on the inside that is selected on mono on mine. We use is on the X32 output with xlr plugs.
