The A-Premium Upper Intake Manifold with Gaskets Thermostat compatible with Ford Crown Victoria, Mustang, Explorer, Lincoln Town Car, Mercury Grand Marquis, and Mountaineer has received mixed reviews from customers. Some customers found it easy to install and a great replacement unit that improved engine response and low-end power while others encountered issues with the plastic riser for the heater core, defective thermostat, and over-tightening issues with threaded inserts. It is made in China and fits V8 4.6L engines from 1999-2011. If not mechanically inclined, it is recommended to bring it to a professional for installation. An OEM thermostat is also suggested as a replacement for the included one to avoid overheating issues.
