What types of wounds is this bandage suitable for?

Dry to light exudate wounds, stage I & II pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, donor sites, minor burns, abrasions, cuts, acne dots, and laceration wounds.

Does the bandage adhere to the wound?

No, it is designed to apply and remove without adherence to the wound and support and protect newly-formed tissue.

How many bandages are included in each pack?

Each pack includes 10 individual bandages.

Has anyone used these for skin protection around their ostomy?

I have some for the ostomy but have not used it. You would lay it over the weepy skin and cut an area out for the stoma and then put your bag/flange over it. The bag would stick to this instead of your skin.

Why are the 2” squares a lot smaller than 2”?

They have a border. Get some with no border. I had to get them that way.

I have a leg wound and I use these. Is the object of this when the entire bandage gets filled with the white gel then it falls off?

I was told to change mine every few days. The white stuff is what is being drawn out of the wound.

Do I need to buy something to put under this dressing over the wound or this dressing on the wound is enough?

You can put it directly over the wound.

Do these have a border?

No border. The entire surface sticks to your skin and gives complete coverage. Very comfortable. I wrapped with gauze or ace bandage to keep edges from rolling too soon.

Are these fully transparent for semi-transparent?

Either semi transparent or not transparent. You could probably see a shadow behind it if you held a light up to it. I don't use these in a way where I need to see through them.

Is this product made in the United States?

It states on the box it’s made in China, but why complain where it’s made when it’s made to work and it does.

Can these be used on a pressure spot to prevent a pressure wound?

I think you could bc it would act as a barrier and collect any excess build-up occuring! Good Luck.
