Within food, the only sources of creatine are found in meats, so for vegans that want the benefits of creatine, supplementation is the only option. You should take with 8 oz of fluid every time you take it. At a minimum, you should be drinking 64 oz (2 liters) of water daily, however, most exercise aficionados recommend much more. I try to drink between 2-3 liters daily to better regulate kidney and colon function.
