It has positive effects on all leather goods. As far as better grip on the steering wheel, it would depend on the condition of the leather before use of the product.

This product made my leather dry, and changed the color from natural to brown. Is there any way I can fix this? It has ruined my boots.

Been using it for years the correct application is Wet a rag ring it out rub in ten work up some on rag use a brush and work any loose dirt off boots work saddle soap into boots. Then rinse out rag and wipe back down and that should clean them. Next use Kiwi leather conditioner it's a cream I just squirt it sparingly on my boots and work in with my hands then let dry in this will help keep the leather soft. Next Kiwi mink oil again dip out and apply with hands this will make them water proof and also give a shine too.
