    Answer : No. Not illuminated and it's not even easy to read in the daytime!
  • Question : I just bought this watch and love it. But I can't figure out how to change the date. Anyone help?
    Answer : I have a very similar model, but not this exact one. Try this procedure --- pull the adjusting knob out by ONE stop... not two. Then rotate that knob counterclockwise a few times. The watch's date should then begin to rapidly change. Stop and press the knob inward when the correct date is displayed. Hopefully, you won't have a 12-hour out-of-sync condition --- otherwise try again.
  • Question : What size watch band would this take as a replacement? 18mm?
    Answer : The attaching portion is 14 mm but the size of the actual strap is a little over 23 mm.
  • Question : As I plan to wear this watch daily for work, Is the leather strap durable?
    Answer : I love this watch, but wore it very little because my work environment is pretty harsh on watches. The leather band didn't hold up well at all, and it's a very unique band. I wore it perhaps 25 times over 4 years and the band basically fell apart! Thanks to the person who provided info on where to get a replacement band. I wish Citizen made a black metal band for this watch.
  • Question : What specialty is in this watch? I got full black, and I love it but it is very hard to read sometimes, lol
    Answer : Sometimes I'll buy a watch because of its functions. Sometimes I'll buy a watch because it just looks good. That Citizen watch is really just good for its looks. I would wear something like that while socializing. It wouldn't be my everyday watch because, as you noticed, it doesn't allow you to tell the time easily. If you really like how it looks, enjoy it. It does look good.
  • Question : Can the back of the watch be engraved?
    Answer : Hello, yes the watch case back has room for engraving
  • Question : How do I change the time? It's not right.
    Answer : You pull the stem out and adjust the time. Citizen has manuals on their site for reference.
