Peel down foil to remove the applicator. Open the applicator by holding upright with foil side toward you and snap applicator tip. Next, part the cat’s hair above the shoulder blades, at the base of the neck. Place the applicator tip just above the skin and squeeze. Apply entire contents of the applicator in a single spot directly onto the cat’s skin. Do not apply on top of the hair coat. Avoid contact with treated area until dry. Frontline FL287410 Flea Drops Editorial Review

The Frontline Plus flea and tick treatment for cats is a liquid product that is administered by dispensing a few drops at the base of cat's fur. It can be used on cats older than 8 weeks and weighing above 1.5 lbs. It doesn't prevent ticks from being on the cat but when they bite, they die. The product is available in different sizes and has an expiration date that is clearly marked on the box. The difference between Frontline Plus and Frontline Tritak is that Frontline Tritak has an additional ingredient called Cyphenothrin. The product received mixed reviews with some customers finding it ineffective in killing fleas and ticks. Others had good experiences and had been using the product for years.
