Question : Does it get delivered via ups or fedex or usps?
Answer : We deliver all orders with FedEx.
Question : Why do the instructions say not to put this in a bottle?
Answer : Because baby don’t always finish 100% of their bottles. Meaning if the product is in the bottle and they don’t drink it all you have no way of knowing how much they actually ingested. If your baby is only getting part of the recommended dose it may not work the way it is supposed to. If you give it to them in the provided syringe like the instructions say they should take it all. Baby should get used to taking it that way by the third or fourth try.
Question : Can you clean the syringe and mixing bowl in a sterilizer?
Answer : For Cleaning: It’s super simple, wash the bowl and feeding syringe with hot soapy water after each use. The bowls and syringes are also dishwasher safe. They are also non-toxic and BPA free.
Question : Does this need to be refrigerated upon delivery?
Answer : We suggest you place the product you receive in the freezer and use 1 sachet per day straight from the freezer. You can store Evivo in the refrigerator for 1 month, but it will last much longer in the freezer – up to the best by date on your package.
Question : Is the purified lactose cow’s milk? How much doy is in this?
Answer : Evivo has only two ingredients: lactose and B. infantis EVC001. Evivo is mostly lactose, however, one tablespoon of breastmilk contains more lactose than one serving of Evivo. Our lactose is at minimum 99.5% pure, but it may contain a minuscule amount of milk protein. B. infantis EVC001 was singled out for its unique characteristics from the microbiome of a healthy infant. During the growth process of B. infantis EVC001, soy and milk ingredients are used and spent, yet trace amounts may remain. As a result, Evivo contains milk and residual amounts of soy. If soy/milk are an issue, please consult with your pediatrician before buying.
Question : We were not home when it was delivered early - If it was delivered yesterday and not refrigerated or frozen, is it still OK?
Answer : When you receive your order, the cool packs may no longer be cool to the touch, but don’t worry; even if the cool packs have warmed, your Evivo is safe to use. Each sachet of Evivo is specially packed and sealed in an airtight sachet that protects the live bacteria by keeping out air, moisture and light. We formulate the product to withstand some variations in temperature that may be associated with shipping delays and expect that it will still have 8 billion CFUs (Colony Forming Units) by the best by date on your package. Our recommendation for freezer and fridge storage is intended to ensure the product maintains at least 8 billion CFUs of the beneficial bacteria until the best by date on your package. We suggest you place the product you receive in the freezer and use 1 sachet per day straight from the freezer. You can store Evivo in the refrigerator for 1 month, but it will last much longer in the freezer – up to the best by date on your package.
