    Answer : I'm not sure what you want to know about it. I take it every 12 hours, 365 days a year. I have a bronchial problem that causes me to cough all the time plus cough up mucus. This medication allows me to a normal once in awhile cough plus I still have very little mucus. My life would be miserable without it. My family takes it when they have a cold or bronchitis. It is available in smaller dosages. This is a higher dose but is only required every 12 hours.
