The JET JWL-1221VS is an excellent wood lathe built with quality Construction and packed with features. It comes with variable speed control that has a 3-step pulley arrangement that can provide speed ranges to suit any situation. The 1HP motor is a totally enclosed AC motor and the lathe comes with an indexing head and a reversing feature. This machine features easy to use controls like the rotating knob and switch. The head spindle thread size is 1" diameter and has a thread size of 8 per inch. Customers have reported loose bolts and wobbling headstock. However, most customers are impressed by its durability and would recommend the lathe to anyone.
