Mrs. Pastures Treats Editorial Review

Mrs. Pastures Horse Cookies are a hard and crunchy treat that horses seem to love. While they aren't soft and chewy, they are a great option for horses who need medication concealed in their food. These cookies are packaged in a variety of styles, making them a nice gift option. Although they are a bit expensive, customers don't mind paying extra for something the horses will eat. One customer said they seem less processed than other treats and work well for training. Another added that they keep them on hand in their barn and horse trailer, and both their dogs and horses love them. Despite being marketed towards horses, customers have fed them to a variety of animals and don't see why they wouldn't be safe for dairy cattle or miniature donkeys.

Pros

  • Horses seem to love them
  • Packaged in various styles, making them great for gifting
  • Less processed and work for training

Cons

  • Expensive for the small amount
  • Not soft and chewy (may not be suitable for some horses who need medication hidden in their food)
