- Question : The carrying handles don't look very sturdy. Is it just elastic wrapped around the buttons?Answer : We have had this suitcase set in Black for approximately 41/2 years. It has been to Italy for 3 weeks, Croatia, Bosnia, Hungry,Canada,Germany and varies US trips. It is sturdy!! It is also beautiful! We get compliments everywhere we go. My midsized suitcase did get a little bit damaged on the way to Budapest, but it was not the handle and it was very minimal. We do not regret this purchase. It was the first time we had purchased Delsey luggage, but it certainly will not be the last.
- Question : How do you set the lock code?Answer : push lock to the left, set code then release
- Question : How has this luggage, especially the white, held up to scuffing?Answer : I do have the white bag. I used it only once but for a 2 week trip through Indonesia and it held up beautifully. It really isn't scuffled at all. White was not my first choice but it was what was quickly available after a mix-up with another supplier.
- Question : Will Frontier Airlines take this bag?Answer : I am a National Sales Manager and cover the US, Canada and the Caribbean both on business and with my wife. We have one bag bigger than this. This bag is used by my wife and she has never had any issues checking this bag but has never been carried it on. I would check their website or call with dimensions to carry on. Unless you are of small stature it would be no issue taking it on board any airline. I wish you a great trip Anu.
