You would have to ask the seller. I sold my device but there are retro handheld groups on Facebook that might be able assist you for free.

Can you download more games into it by connecting it to your computer?

Not by connecting the device to a computer. The device has a microSD\TF card that comes out, and things can be added. Included card is not the most reliable, so if you have the know-how would strongly recommend getting a new card and either imaging the original firmware onto it, or installing the custom firmware.

It does have MAME, but you still have to add games to it. Everything else comes preloaded except for MAME.

Is this the same device as the powkiddy v90, or is it different hardware in the same case?

Yeah. This is the Powkiddy v90. For some reason these drop shippers fake their own brand on the listing.

The GoolRC Flip Handheld Console is a portable mini retro game Console built with a 3-inch IPS screen and an open system. It comes with a 16G TF card pre-loaded with 2000 games, including multiple versions of Ninja Turtles for different Consoles, Game Boy, color, and advanced games. It also has MAME emulator, but you need to add games to it. The device has some lag and frame rate drops, making it best for Game Boy and advanced games only. The plastic feels cheap, and some customers reported their devices broke at the hinge after just one week. The battery life is not great but easily swappable. Despite its flaws, the GoolRC Flip Handheld Console is a great entry-level rom Console and perfect for a pocket or smaller kids.
