It works well for post-surgery recovery and sports-related injuries. The machine comes with a 3-strap knee elbow shoulder wrap and includes four gel cubes that are easy to freeze and refreeze. The machine is powered by a plug that comes with an on/off button. Although the motor makes a noticeable hum at the start, it quickly quiets down after pumping water for a minute or two. The top of the machine secures great and makes transport with water and ice less stressful.
