The hour numerals do not light up, but there are lume dots between the numerals and the case. The watch comes with a durable and rugged Horween leather band made in the USA, but some customers had issues with the band fraying. The watch is lightweight and comfortable to wear, but some customers had issues with the minute hand inaccuracies.
