I can't remember what size of a box it came in, but it arrives deflated and I am sure you would get this into your suitcase. It is in fact a very good product.

Would this be big enough for a six-year-old?

Probably better for a 2 yr old as although it's pretty sturdy, it' not very tall. I would say it's way too small for my 7yr old but he will still bounce around on it!

Looking to buy some of these for a community centre as they are quite a bit cheaper than the top brand. Are they durable enough? Or is false economy?

Bought this for my granddaughter when she was two as her older siblings had hoppers. This was perfect, she was able to join in and still be safe. Her feet were on the ground for stability and the product was of good quality. She is now almost 4 and still uses it.

Yes it does bounce. Not like a space hopper but it does bounce. We bought one for the 2 yr old granddaughter over a year ago. It's still in use.
