If you do this method put the air discharge hose into a container because you will get some liquid discharge when pulling the vacuum the second time.

After you pull a vacuum and shut off the valve, the pressure gauge would show an increase (decrease in vacuum) if there were a leak in the system.
- Question : If you connect at expansion tank, how does the air get pulled through the radiator cap pressure valve?Answer : In theory, pulling a vacuum on the expansion tank would open the radiator cap once the vacuum exceeds the rating on the pressure cap but my expansion tank has an over flow that would have to be plugged and it would be hard to reach. I just connect where the radiator cap goes not to the expansion tank and cap the line to the expansion tank.
- Question : Will it fit for dodge challenger hellcat?Answer : Most likely it will fit yours but just measure and you can check with the online manufacturer manual to see if it has one close it needs to be a little small than the opening because the adapter is locked in my turning it and it swells to make a seal.
