Panoramic 2SL is the same herbicide as Plateau. It is excellent as a selective herbicide for establishing tall grass prairie or to use in conjunction with glyphosate as a Broad-spectrum herbicide for long range control of weeds around buildings, sidewalks, roads etc. It kills most cool season grasses and anything in the crabgrass or Johnson grass family.

We have lilac tasselflower, hairy crabgrass, and richardia, infiltrating our front lawn of beautiful perennial peanut. Will this kill the peanuts?

It will kill a lot of weeds. Look at references but is hard on lawn turf and will stay in soil for 3 months as a pre emergent.

Can you use with Fescue grass without killing the fesque?

NO. Panoramic 2SL will kill fescue, bermuda, and several other desired species of grasses.

How soon can I seed my fields after I spray Panoramic? This product came up when I was searching for Plateau, are they the same?

Will this kill Switchgrass?

I used it to kill cheatgrass and it killed all the other glasses it touched. Don’t know about switchgrass but I would think so.

Panoramic 2SL Herbicide is designed to kill certain grasses and weeds, but it is not a growth regulator. It is labeled for use in Bermuda grass and can control or suppress many grass weeds such as crabgrass, sandbur, and nutsedge. However, the herbicide will cause stunting of the bermudagrass if used at high rates. One should not use it until the bermudagrass reaches full green-up, and one should apply no more than 6 ounces per acre of the active ingredient, imzapic. Panoramic 2SL is an excellent selective herbicide for establishing tall grass prairies. However, it will kill most cool season grasses and anything in the crabgrass or Johnson grass family. It is not safe for use with Fescue grass. The herbicide's application rate and acreage coverage depend on the weed species and crop's sensitivity, as well as the surface area. The duration of the application's restriction varies from seed type to seed type.
