- Question : Does this scanner come with a cord?Answer : It comes with a power cord. I don't think it comes with the USB cable that connects it to my Mac.
- Question : Has anyone tried scanning receipts? Does it work without having to copy them on a piece of paper first?Answer : The DR-C225II does support receipt scanning. Canon also sells the “DR-C225II Small Business Edition powered by Receipt Bank” if receipt scanning will be your main purpose. All DR-C225II units can scan documents that are 2 to 8.5 inches wide and 2.12 to 14 inches long. If your receipts are within this size range, you will not have to make copies of them before scanning.
- Question : My main use will be with a store retail receipt very long one, over 80 inches long. Can it work with this scanner?Answer : No, the DR-C225II can scan documents that are 2 to 8.5 inches wide and 2.12 to 14 inches long.

- Question : Is the software compatible with Mac OS Big Sur?Answer : Yes, the imageFORMULA DR-C225 II is compatible with Mac OS 11 Big Sur.
- Question : What's the power of this product? AC100 to 240V? Does it work in a 220V country? Does it come with a plug-in power cord or built-in power cord?Answer : It comes with an AC adapter and a power cable for 120V, but the cable is not hardwired to the machine. Canon doesn't recommend using 220V, but it can be done with the right cord.
- Question : What is the URL address for Canon to download scanner setup? Need TWAIN driver.Answer : You can go to usa.canon.com, search for the DR-C225II, select drivers and downloads, and install the correct driver.

Canon 3258C002 Document Scanners Editorial Review
The Canon imageFORMULA DR-C225 II is a scanner that is very easy to set up and use. It can save scanned files in several formats, including PDF, and supports receipt scanning. However, it has a minimum and maximum size range for documents and can't handle anything over 14 inches. There were a few negative experiences with the scanner, some customers had trouble with the software and found it difficult to install, while others found that the scanner jammed frequently or crunched up receipts. The software that's bundled with the scanner was reported to be insufficient for some users as it didn't include license codes for manipulating PDFs.
