- Question : Is this just the outlet itself or does it come with a outlet cover as well?Answer : Ti's is just an outlet. Cover has to buy separate.
- Question : Is this like all the other gfci's that you can feed off this one to protect regular outlets down stream?Answer : Yes it is. Works like any regular gfci.
- Question : Does it come with the mounting plate?Answer : Like most of the receptacles and switches in this line, it does not come with the mounting plate. The mounting and the wall plate are sold together.
- Question : Will this allow me to plug in my hair dryer and straightener at the same time? They both have those boxy plugs.Answer : Even though the plugs may fit, the amount of electricity being used from both items using the exact same outlet may not be good. The amperage of an outlet is normally 15 or 2 amps. They both may work at the same time for a little bit but there is still a possibility of it popping the GFCI breaker. You never want to overload outlets.
- Question : Hi dear, Is this an electrical outlet or just a cover. Because no pictures are attached to the back of the product.Answer : It’s an outlet..comes with a metal mounting plate but you will need to buy a plastic decorative plate to cover..they are specific to this product..so be certain to buy an Adorne cover or trim plat
- Question : Which model plate cover fits this outlet?Answer : It's the standard 1-gang cover plate - there are two spacers that need to be removed in order to fit it on the GFCI outlet
- Question : What wallplate matches this outlet?Answer : This color outlet is a standard silver/grey and works with almost any face plate. I have this color outlet with a bronze face plate and with a darker grey- it looks nice with both.

The Adorne AGFTR2202-M4 Tamper-Resistant GFCI Outlet 20 Amp 125 Volt Magnesium is a regular GFCI outlet that is easy to install and works like a regular GFCI. It does not come with a mounting plate or a wall plate, which can be purchased separately. The outlet is a standard silver/grey and works well with almost any faceplate. However, customers should be aware of the amperage of the outlet and not overload it by plugging in devices that draw too much electricity.
