    Answer : Stevia Leaf Extract <= see label of ingredients, second photo in gallery for this product. And BTW, the taste for both flavors is excellent.
  • Question : To the manufacturer, does this product have any maltodextrin in it? Natural flavorings are almost always on a maltodextrin carrier which is why I ask.
    Answer : We use a tiny amount of maltodextrin as a flavor carrier. And by tiny, let me put this in some context. One teaspoon of maltodextrin has about 4 grams of carbohydrates, similar to most sugars. In a stick pack of LMNT there are a few MILLIGRAMS of maltodextrin.
  • Question : What ingredient gives 2g of total carbs in lmnt citrus salt?
    Answer : The 2g of carbs are from the citric acid. We also have a Raw Unflavored version with 0 carbs.
  • Question : Is it true the watermelon and chocolate do not contain citric acid? I need to avoid it
    Answer : Not sure about the other flavors, but would assume its the same.
  • Question : How is this low sodium?
    Answer : Our formulation is informed by the literature at hand. Our formulation reflects the research and goal to supplement any shortfall. Generally, we see people in ranges of sodium-to-potassium from 2:1 down to 1:2 do just fine.
  • Question : Where do the natural flavors come from?
    Answer : The natural flavors are either distilled or extracted from fruits, roots, and spices and then spray-dried into powder form.
  • Question : Does stevia leaf extract contain erythritol?
    Answer : There is no erythritol in LMNT. Erythritol is a sweetener that would be its own ingredient, not an additive to another sweetener.
  • Question : Is this third party tested?
    Answer : Yes, our 3rd party manufacturers have a strict Supplier Code of Conduct for all raw materials to adhere to the highest legal and ethical rules and principles.
