It is easy to install with the provided aluminum can and connectors, and it has a switch for five different brightness levels, making it easy to set the tone for different rooms in the house. Reviewers have installed numerous lights throughout their homes with no problems. The lights are IC rated, which means they can be in contact with insulation in ceilings, and the connection box is thermally protected. They also provide even and uniform brightness throughout the room. One recommendation is to install the lights at least 3 inches from walls or 2 inches from cabinet doors to avoid shadows under cabinets.
