- Question : Can you stand up and cast from this kayak?Answer : Yes, you can stand and paddle and fish it. It is not as stable as other kayaks mainly because the deck is not flat. You can modify the deck by adding a flat deck made of foam to make it flush. You can then also add a stadium seat to be higher on the water and allows you to go from the seated position to standing position easier. The padded seat and back rest are poorly engineered and quality.

- Question : What is the weight limit?Answer : I don't see it on any tags but I can tell you I weigh 200 lbs and that is not even close to over loading. It is designed for single user but even with 50 lbs of gear it would be fine. Remember, this is a sit on top style, your center of gravity is higher than if you were sitting on the bottom. More weight, higher equals less stability.
