- Question : Would this fit a 9 year old boy?Answer : Yes, it should fit a 9 year old boy. Just be careful with the mouthpiece to ensure it doesn't come off and potentially choke him.
- Question : Does it not have a cover for the mouth piece to keep it clean when you're out in the elements?Answer : Yes, the mouthpiece is in a covering that you have to screw open to get the water.
- Question : Can the tube be cut so it's not hanging across the chest?Answer : The tube cannot be cut, but you can adjust its position to your preference.
- Question : How do you dry out the bladder and straw so that it doesn’t mold between use?Answer : Wash and empty the bladder/hose assembly, then put it in the freezer. The little bit of frozen water will thaw when you fill it.
- Question : What is the total length of the hose?Answer : I don't know the exact length. However, I had a negative experience with this product as it leaked.
- Question : Will you have the light blue color again soon?Answer : They make more of the dark blue one. The availability of the light blue color may vary.
- Question : Would this hold a 3L water bladder?Answer : No, the carrier is designed for a 2L bladder and does not have much extra room.
- Question : Help with base and/or valve. I've been using a camelbak for years, just got this and can't seem to get water from the bladder to the tube.Answer : The mouthpiece may be more difficult to get water from. Try pulling the rubber tip out a bit for better flow. You may still need to bite down for decent flow.

The water buffalo is a useful hydration accessory for hiking, camping, and long days spent outdoors. A reviewer repurposed the product for their spouse who carries an oxygen bottle, and the loops at the top work well to keep it securely in place. The product has adjustable straps, offering a great fit. Cleaning the bladder with lemon juice and hot water eliminates any lingering plastic smell. Nevertheless, there have been complaints about a broken zipper and receiving an already-used product with marks and a wet inside. Additionally, some struggle with the valve as it takes effort to get water through. For drying, some customers prefer the freezer method. Buyers should note that this product only fits a 2L water bladder as there isn't much additional room.
