The refractometer is easy to use and provides accurate salinity levels of water samples, once calibrated using distilled water. The calibration screw is sensitive and requires caution while adjusting. The glass quality is average, but readable under decent lighting. Some reviewers found the product flimsy and poorly made, with loose pieces that don't fit together properly. However, overall, it is still Considered a good value product.
