  • Question : After installing this filter water pressure is so high the water basically shoots out of the tall glass... any fixes to that?
    Answer : Mine did that wit the last filter I replaced, turns out it was some sediment or something, like a little rock that shot out and now the pressure is back to normal. Think of it like putting your thumb on the end of the garden hose to make the water pressure greater to clean dirt off the sidewalk. Not sure how to check if that is your issue also, but maybe use a camera to get a shot of the water outlet, or try something to poke in it (not something that could break!). Good luck, hope you figuire it out, it was very annoying, and took about 5 or 6 months before it shot out into my glass of water and I realized what it was.

    Answer : When I ordered my filters, I was able to click a link on the product page which allowed me to check my Whirlpool model # against the list of suitable models. I strongly suggest you do the same. And if there is no such model # list-link on the order page, visit the company website to check there. I strongly recommend the filter but also strongly encourage checking the model # list. Good luck.

    Answer : I'm sorry, but I really don't know. I suggest checking the part number and see if its compatible with the Kitchaide. Good luck.
