Plus, it's manufactured in the USA (Oregon) so not quite as easy for the Chinese to clone as the millions of other products that are being made right over there, where 'employees' walk out the back door with complete design schematics and make perfect copies across town for 10% of the price and drive the American maker out of business. (The lesson here is, buy American!)

Does the plus model have spring loaded pliers?

Does it come with a pocket clip?

No it does not. I dont know why you would want one either. It comes with a nylon holster and I work in construction A few guys on our crews carried them. To be honest half carried this multitool in the holster and half in their front or back pocket. I had 2 and I was for work and one was in my backpack for Search and Rescue.

No it does not come with the clip. The clip is part of an 'add-on' package you can buy seperately. The kit comes with a clip and a lanyard ring. Price is about $15. It does however come with a heavy duty Nylon belt pouch. Leatherman should include the clip as part of the Wave package but probably will not any time soon... Bill.....

No, the design is on one side of the handle and blade only

The difference is the replaceable wire cutters on the Wave+.

What specific screw driver do I use to tighten the screws on this leatherman?

It's not a common tip, you need a #15 torx head tip for one side and a #10 torx tip for the other. The tough part is that they need to have a hole in the center of the tip that goes over the pin you can see. You can get a set at most the big hardware and box stores just be sure you look at the end of the tip to be sure there is a hole in it. The other option is send it back to leatherman and they will fix any problem with the tool for free. There is a form on there website that tells you what to do.

What steel is the blade?

The leatherman (and other sites) say it’s 420HC (high carbon) steel.
