- Question : What do I need to do to start using this pedometer?Answer : It is ready to use straight out of the package. No complicated set up required. Just press the button at the back to start.
- Question : Is this pedometer accurate?Answer : Yes, it features advanced 3D Tri-Axis Sensor technology, which is much more accurate than most pedometers. It provides superior accuracy in reading steps in any position, up, down, flat on its side, or any angle.
- Question : What are the different wearing options for this pedometer?Answer : You can clip it to your pocket or hip, wear it around your neck, or place it in your pocket or bag for convenience.
- Question : How can I reset the 3d fit bit?Answer : The reset button can be a bit tricky! Use a thumbnail, hold it straight on the button, and hold it down firmly for a bit. The readout will change to 88888888888888 and then 0. Keep trying! It may take 15-30 seconds but it is worth it.
- Question : Does it count stepping in place?Answer : Yes, It registers stepping in place. It was tested twice and both times it registered the steps.
- Question : Where should this pedometer be placed for strapping in place?Answer : You can strap it to your belt, pants pocket, inside a purse enclosure, etc. Any place that secures it, so it doesn’t bounce around. It works fine when placed on the belt, shirt pocket, pants pocket, etc.
- Question : If I hold it in my hand while walking instead of using the clip or lanyard, will it still function correctly?Answer : It should function correctly, but it is better to put it in your pocket or clip it on your clothes. This hasn’t been experienced as it has always been used with a clip or lanyard.
- Question : Is this backlit?Answer : No, it is not backlit.
- Question : How easy is it to change the battery?Answer : It is easy to change the battery. Slide the pedometer out of the clipped sleeve and untwist the back counterclockwise with a coin as indicated by the arrow (it turns very little). Then use a ball pen or small screwdriver to push on the edge of the battery away from the 2 plastic restraints towards the 2 metal clips. The battery should flip out then. When replacing, put the edge of the battery into the 2 metal clips first and push slightly away from the plastic restraints. The other edge should fall below the plastic restraints and be in place. Then just replace the back and lock with the coin turning clockwise finally placing the device back into the sleeve.
