The National Geographic Field Guide to the Birds of North America, 7th Edition is an exceptional book for birding enthusiasts. It features a nice layout with easy-to-find bird images and a comprehensive index in the front of the book. The pictures are bigger and better than many other birding books out there. The book is great for logging bird sightings and identifying new birds. It has excellent photos, descriptions, and indexes, making it a valuable resource for accurate bird identification. However, the book is hefty, which makes it difficult to carry around on outings.
