The Xenvo Shutterbug is a camera shutter remote control that is compatible with smartphones and tablets running iOS or Android operating systems. It is not compatible with dedicated digital cameras. Customers confirm that the device is easy to set up and pair with a phone or tablet via a Bluetooth app. The Shutterbug is capable of taking both photos and starting/stopping video recording using the volume key of the phone. However, it cannot switch between photo and video recording remotely. The device has a durable Construction and includes a clip to attach to a belt loop or backpack. It also works well with telescopes. One downside is that it is not compatible with Snapchat. Another downside is that it may not respond to stop the video recording, requiring the user to do it manually.
