- Question : My neighbor and I share the wifi but the router is at her apartment and my signal is too weak, can I use it to improve mine? And works within the two?Answer : I almost keep getting the answer to this question but not quite. Will someone please straight up answer this, which is the same question as mine. Focus - he is saying that the router is in her apartment... lets say he cant touch it but knows the login/password. Picture two apartments, lets say 100 feet apart IMPORTANT > Do not have access to the router! it's in someone else's apartment, NOW can this be put in between and using ethernet for POE but NOT for connecting router to Extender. That would be an access point. Ethernet from alternate area with weak signal for POE. And suggested, if you can run ethernet from one space to the other. Why wouldn't you just plug into the router and skip the repeater extender and wifi altogether?
