- Question : Is it kosher or halal? Does it contain gelatin from pig?Answer : Most gelatin comes from cows. I have never heard of gelatin made from pig hooves, mainly because you cannot make enough - smaller hooves. All 'Now' products that use gelatin state in their ingredients they use 'bovine' gelatin, which is cow gelatin. I use 3 of their gelcaps, and they all use bovine gelatin. So I would say yes, their supplements are halal or kosher.
