Does the bucket keep out ants and critters if stored in the garage?

It does not come in a bucket. It is a bag with a built in zip lock. I keep them in my outdoor shed and I have had no trouble with ants or critters.

Will this seed fit through small hole in feeder or is it too large to drop down?

I don’t have a bag of it here now but the mixture includes big seeds like sunflower as well as small. So probably won’t fit.

Will it attract unwanted birds like pigeons too?

I do not recommend this feed. Does not attract many birds at all. Other purchase have worked much better.

Does this have any artificial colors or flavoring?

I read the ingredient list on the right side of the package: 'sunflower seed, safflower seed, striped sunflower seed.' I didn't see any filers in my bag of seeds. Above the ingredient list is the 'analysis' list: Protein, fat, fiber & moisture. I like this brand because redbirds seem to prefer these types of seeds over other kinds.

Are these seeds viable if you plant them? Will they grow if planted?

I have had the seed to fall from the feeder and come up. Have never planted any.
