The Marcy Home Gym Cage System Workout Station for Weightlifting, Bodybuilding, and Strength Training MWM-7041 is a great buy for anyone serious about working out and weight training. It is a functional and affordable cage system that is worth every penny. The pulley system is efficient, the bench and squat rack are perfect, the dip station is fantastic and the pull-up station is a fabulous extra perk, and the storage for weights, dumbbells, and miscellaneous items is convenient. The cage is sturdy and well designed. Assembly takes about 4-4.5 leisurely hours but can be completed in 2.5 or 3 hours with the help of someone else. One should make sure not to tighten the frame until the instructions say so. The dip bars could fold up/strap against the side when not in use, but this issue is solved by using Velcro straps. Also, there is not much wiggle room when doing squats within the cage. Some users complain that it is not great for Olympic lifts like heavy squats or deadlifts, but it is perfect for a home gym. The pulley system is not Olympic grade. It is recommended to register with Marcy to get the two-year warranty and get the four-year sports equipment protection from Walmart.
