Question : Is the Fiskars better than the Garden Weasel Pro on sale for $20 at Lowe's?
Answer : No, absolutely not!! In my opinion, Garden Weasel every time without hesitation! The Fiskars have rounded/blunt posts that go into the ground & it’s cheaply made compared to the Garden Weasel. The Garden Weasel has (what looks to be) stainless steel long teeth at the bottom that rips through soil/clay & has texture to these teeth which helps break through clay (which the Fiskars did not!).
Question : Would it work in a gravel drive to remove weeds?

Question : The area I want it for is a densely compacted mat of sumac root hairs that have sucked the life out of everything. Will it make life easier for me?
Answer : I doubt it would work as it would take a lot of muscle power to work against compacted sumac root hairs. It's better to use it to loosen a small area of soil to prepare it for planting.
