The Bose ProFlight Aviation Headset is a high-quality aviation headset with built-in Bluetooth. It requires batteries and blocks out noise effectively with three different levels of noise cancellation. The headset fits comfortably although the bulky cable requires adjustment, but this can be solved by attaching the cable to the shirt pocket instead of an epaulette. The sound quality and noise cancelling capabilities are excellent in the cockpit. The tap to stop noise cancelling function works, but one ear on the cord may turn off when bumping into something during taxiing or takeoff. However, this function can be turned off. The product comes with different cable assemblies based on specific needs. It still works for transmitting and receiving communication from ATC even if the batteries run out. Some customers have complained about the bulky cable making the headset uncomfortable and having a horrible fit. Others have said that it is an excellent product or what you would expect from Bose, but a try-before-you-buy is recommended.
