It may not be micro-adjustable like a 2-bolt seat post, but it comes with ridges between the two matting surfaces, which add friction to keep it in place. The quality is good, and it held up well for various customers' bikes. Although one review noted that the bolt used may crack, replacing it with a Grade 5 or higher bolt can solve the problem. Generally, with right sizing and some adjustment Consideration, this seat post fits the purpose and work pretty well.
