The Luxilon Savage 127 Set Tennis String has received mixed reviews and feedback from customers. Some customers find it to be the best string they have used with great spin and power, while others find it lacking in feel. It is a very stiff string and maintains tension, but the color makes a difference, and ice blue plays stiffer. Customers who have used Babolat Touch VS and Klip Legend natural gut noticed that Luxilon has way more coating and is more control-oriented, but lacks in feel compared to the other two. The string seems to work best for power players who want to take their game to the next level. There is an issue of choosing between the 16 or 16L gauge, but 16 is preferable for those who are string breakers. Nation gut and moisture is not compatible, so it is recommended to have at least one racket strung with synthetic strings.
