This product contains one battery that lasts for 250 hours and is not replaceable once it has been used up.

Can you wear this device while walking around, working, and/or exercising?

This is the only pemf device that is portable. It can be worn during walking, working, and/or exercising. It is a great alternative to using pain pills.

Does this product come with the adhesive tape shown in the pictures?

It comes with string adhesive strips, but they leave a sticky residue on the loop, plus it’s not comfortable at all removing from skin. It is recommended to use Nexcare waterproof tape with great success.

Do you need to purchase extra tape to fasten it to your body?

No. There is a packet of adhesive strips that comes with the product. You can also use regular KT tape.

Is this the same device that was marketed by the manufacturer as the Actipatch patch pain relief device?

Yes, KT bought out ActiPatch, shortened the battery life from 750 hrs to 250hrs and raised the price from $21 (refill price) to $32 and now down to $29. It has undergone certain modifications.

Is this basically a TENS device?

No, it is nothing like a TENS unit. The waves that it emits cannot be felt at all. It may not really reduce the amount of pain that one is experiencing at the time.

Why is the KT tape version 1/3 of the hours of ActiPatch but 5 dollars more?

KT tape is modified and is said to work better, lasts longer and is more effective in reducing pain. However, it may be more expensive than ActiPatch.

Can this be used for quad pain?

Yes, there are videos on YouTube and you can go to the kinesiotaping website on how to tape the quads. Use of Coviden TENSCote pads first helps it stuck longer and protect the skin from irritation from sweat, water. Be sure skin is shaved if much hair in area to be taped.

Wore the device less than 24 hours caused irritation under device. Has anyone else reported this?

Some users have experienced irritation from the tape, but most have not reported any issues. It is recommended to ensure that the skin is shaved in the area to be taped.
