- Question : What kind of dog is that in the large size bed picture?Answer : It's an Amarillo Couch Jumper. You don't want one. Impossible to keep off the furniture.
- Question : I have a large dog (80 lbs) who has a dogloo... will this be ok if it won't lie flat inside, but is kinda scrunched to make it fit?Answer : Yes, turn it up on the ends and it should be fine. The pad can be scrunched to fit.
- Question : So this has a cord? How long? Do I need and extension cord? might be a problem if dog chews?Answer : The cord is 5.5 feet long. It is best to use this on a GFCI protected circuit or outlet. Chewing on it is not safe, so supervision is advised.
- Question : Will it work if I put it under a Rug/carpet. My dogs will destroy it for sure above rug.Answer : It's not recommended to put it under a carpet or rug. It may not heat up properly and covering it may damage the pad.
- Question : How big of a pad for a dog 40-45 lbs?Answer : We suggest a large pad. Though a medium pad can be used, it may not be sufficient for a 40-45 lbs dog to have enough space to lie on.
- Question : Is this slippery when wet? my dog is 160lbs mastiff with tremors and difficulty rising often slips on cement if wet.Answer : It's best not to use the pad when it is wet. It is also cautioned to use the pad when it is not plugged in, especially when it is wet.
- Question : Will this help to keep an outside dog house warm? I had the Akoma heat and breeze but it only lasted for a year .. Any recommendations?Answer : The pad is designed to keep your pet warm when they lie on it. It isn't designed to heat an entire doghouse. So, we advise placing it on a warm surface and covering it with a blanket to help contain the heat.
- Question : Is this flexible enough to get through a dog house door?Answer : Yes, the K&H Lectro-Soft is flexible enough to go through the dog house door. You just want to be sure it is laying flat on the floor once inside the house.
- Question : How much does this inflate and how long does it take? Mine does not seem to inflate. could it be defective?Answer : The pad does not inflate. It's just a bed for your pets to lie on. When the pet lays on it, it heats up.
