KA-BAR Fixed Blade Hunting Knives Editorial Review
The KA-BAR Turok has received great reviews from customers, describing it as a high-quality knife with good fighting ability, sharp with an ergonomic grip, and weighs almost 12oz, making it a great utility/combat knife. Its blade is 1095 Cro-Van, making it great for hard-use tasks, and its handle is solid and has texturing that provides the optimal amount of grip vs mobility. The knife is also full tang and comes with an excellent Celcon sheath that has great retention qualities. The sheath is easily adjustable for right- or left-hand carry, and the knife can be set up in any configuration best suited. A Tek-Lok, with 3/8" or 1/2" chicago screws, is an essential accessory that can upgrade the knife's carrying capacity. There are no major issues to the blade's quality, apart from the black coating on the blade, which is difficult to strike a spark with a fero rod.
