These Jeep JK rock sliders are designed with functionality in mind. They bolt on to the underside of the vehicle, and are built with thick metal that appears durable and capable of taking a beating. The sliders are capable of withstanding the weight of a Jeep and can be used safely as a jack point - one reviewer even lifted their whole Jeep on them. The sliders weigh 40 lbs each and come unpainted, so it is recommended to test fit them upon arrival and paint them as soon as possible to prevent surface rust. The installation process is reportedly easy and can be done with a drill, some sockets, and wrenches. Despite being designed for the Jeep JK model, it is not clear whether they can be fitted onto the 05-10 Grand Cherokee model.
