Wright's Silver Cream is a cleaning product for sterling silver and silver plated products. Customers have used it successfully to clean silver, simply using a small amount of water to thin down the product when needed. It is safe to use on gold but not recommended for use on other metals or costume jewelry. The product does not contain an anti-tarnish agent. The sponge does not need to be rinsed after every use, but if necessary, it can be rinsed with water and left to air dry before putting back into the canister. The product cannot be used to fix scratches on eyeglasses. Some customers have reported that the product can remove rust from stainless steel silverware, but the cleaning pad SOS is recommended for stainless steel.
