Narex Wood Chisels Editorial Review

The Narex Czech Steel Premium Woodworking Cabinetmakers Paring Chisel with European Hornbeam Handle is a well-made chisel with a blade that is flat ground at 20 degrees, perfect for paring, and it mic's out at exactly 1/2 inch wide. The handle quality and color are the only possible complaints. Some minor sharpening and tuning are required, but overall, it is a great tool. One reviewer did mention the back was out of flat, requiring extra grinding, with another saying it was ground to 25 degrees, rather than the recommended 17-21 degrees making it too thick for paring. However, for the price, it is an excellent tool that is expected to last for a long time.
