  • Question : Is the 3.25 measurement the depth and it’s only 2.9" tall or the other way around?
    Answer : 2.9 inches deep (front to back) 3.25 inches tall (top to bottom)
  • Question : Can someone explain how you trace this one out? Mine never had those metal tabs. Thanks!!
    Answer : The box is for existing drywall installations. You would trace around the plastic outside to make the cut out. The metal tabs fit on the outside of the drywall. The little metal pop-up tab in the upper right corner and lower left corners of the box, attached to the two screws, fit inside the drywall cavity and pull the box into the cavity cut out while the four (4) metal rectangular tabs prevent the box from being pulled inside of the drywall cavity.
  • Question : How do you cut holes in this box? How do the wires go through the box? What are the black tabs inside for?
    Answer : I punched them out with a screw driver. Remove the black plastic before you do anything. After inserting the wires, put the black plastic back. This box should have come with directions on how to use it.
  • Question : What is the maximum wall thickness the clamps can handle?
    Answer : 1/2" drywall for sure. Probably 5/8" as well.
