Question : Does the controller have overflow protection?
Answer : The controller reservoir had an internal adjustment that regulates the level of water into each pot. It has never over flown the pots. Leaks may occur from one pot where the hose connects at the bottom of the pot.
Question : Does the pots have mesh inserts?
Answer : Yes.
Question : What is the tank made of? Material?
Answer : It's a 55 gallon plastic barrel that you can buy on craigslist for $5. Buckets will break and leak. Water pumps will fail, and their 'brain' bucket is a disaster.
Question : Will this come in an unmarked box?
Answer : Yes, it did. There is no air stone equipment, so you need to get that to keep the nutrients well mixed. Double check the elbows before the test run. The breather ones are only for the reservoir, and they gave two of those but used one in the room accidentally and thought it sprang a leak already.
Question : What size tent do I need for this system?
Answer : 10x12 is the best so your plants aren't crowded, making it easier to pick your crop.
Question : How large of an area does this system require?
Answer : The system can be set up in a small area if the crops were small, but beware that the plants grew to enormous size. I highly suggest using air pump and air stones in Tank and each bucket as this will keep the nutrients left in each bucket after the drain cycle to stay oxygen-rich. There is a lot of video on Youtube using the Ebb and Grow system.
Question : How does this compare to the Titan Grow system?
Answer : Here is too small of a pot like 2 gallons. It is not enough to grow. Not excellent. Only module and 55-gallon reservoir can be used to remake the system.
