Has this item been irradiated?

To be honest, if the item is irradiated, I am probablly emitting something bad for the others as I take it almost everyday. The products delivered from Japan should be tested and checked before transport anyway. You shouldn't be warried too much about it, because I live about 100 miles away from Fukushima and nothing is really seen as an evidense of any radiations.

Yes, it's great and you'll find it on a restaraunt table much like you'd see ketcup on the table in USA...:-):-)

Is this seasoning really hot ? Or does it just have a kick ?

Just a kick. Adds flavor though!

Do I store this in the fridge after opening?

I keep mine in the cupboard. When I order these, I buy 4 at a time and I've never had a problem even with the last bottle that I open.

it does not include sugar. The ingredients are dried citrus, red pepper, Japanese pepper, hemp seed, poppy seed, black sesame and green laver. Shichi and nana mean seven in Japanese. Mi means taste or flavor. Togarashi means hot pepper. Voila! Shichi-mi togarashi!

Is this item gluten free?

Ingredients: Chili Pepper, Orange Peel, Black Sesame Seed, White Sesame Seed, Japanese Pepper, Ginger, Seaweed. There are no statements with regard to gluten on the product but it has a US phone number you can call for more information (310) 878-3177.
