This is Spanish Jamon Iberico...No...there are no gold flakes.

Yes, it does come with a black bag that can be used to cover the jamon. At my house we use cotton cloth to cover it.

How long it last at room temperature after opened?

It will last for months. If it is covered with a towel, it won’t dry as quickly and will be easier to slice.

Hamlover's 5J jamon Iberico de Bellota is produced from the black hoof breed of pigs and is shipped without hooves as per USDA regulations. It comes with a black bag that can be used to cover the ham, and if covered with a towel it can last for months without drying out too quickly. It is a ham, not a paleta and currently, stock weighs 15-16 lbs. The product has received mixed reviews: some love it and have bought it multiple times, stating that it is the best Spanish ham they have tasted and tastes better than the one they ate in Spain. Others found the price to be higher than that of other available brands and a deception. However, the majority of customers were happy with the product and appreciated the fast shipping and the seller's great customer service.
