How would you compare these to the Roland pitted olives?

I’ve had both. The Roland olives are extremely salty! They both taste good, but Roland is almost inedible because of the salt.

Why sunflower oil, this is why i did not buy?

Sunflower oil is light and imparts a subtle flavor. Most importantly, when quality olive oil is refrigerated it becomes viscous. Sunflower oil does not do this.

Is any black pepper used?

No black pepper! But it was a little bit over salted!

How long do they keep in the bag at room temperature?

Olives preserved this way are kept for long periods in barrels at room temperature. As shipped, however, they don't have much brine in the bag. I doubt anybody can tell you how long they keep but I can't imagine they are refrigerated in warehouses. Probably weeks to months, at a guess.

Are they unpasteurized?

Yes they are. Generally olives are fermented.

Do they need to be refrigerated after opening?

If you can store below 60 degrees - should be fine. I repackage in 2 point plastic deli containers and refrigerate- I love these olives. Strong brine taste which I like for cooking- especially pastas and pizza topping.

Are them with seeds or seedless?

There are no seeds in these olives. They are very good and a nice variety. A bag lasts me about 3 months and they don't go bad if refrigerated!

How can I get these delivered without them being heavily damaged during shipping?

They come well packaged in very heavy plastic sealed bag. Ordered 4 times and no damage.
