The unit has a filter that needs to be changed every 6 months to a year depending on the conditions, and the device has a built-in sensor that lets users know when it's time to replace the filter. The CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) rating is 160, which can translate into covering up to 250 sq ft with standard 8 ft ceilings. The purifier has an ionizer that produces ozone, which can be charged and make stick onto walls and ceilings. Although it is rare for unsafe levels of ozone to be produced in a decent-sized room, it is recommended to not use it.
